Changing Deities for a character is a major step. Especially for faith based characters where their god is the central point of their character abilities and faith. It is considered to be a major event in the characters life and should be taken as such, regardless of class.

When converting to another faith, it is important to remember that contacting your SDM with your intentions is always a good start to speeding the process along. Though even with that, it can take a fairly long time to fully convert to a deity if you were a prominent figure of another faith. The DMs do however welcome the chance to help you further your character and if changing deities helps that, then we welcome it. It is important to remember though that divine caster and faith based classes will receive a fallen token initially when they convert to another deity. The general idea behind this is to allow the character to prove their worth to their new chosen patron.

Contacting your SDM is a good first step to take. Regardless of conversion or not, the DMs will freely answer faith based questions to the best of their ability.
