[edit] Healing Skill Rules
Using a healing kit or medicine bag on a target PC will allow a healing check (using your healing skill) to do any of the following:
- Stabilize a dying PC
- Neutralize the poison (this will not reverse damage already done)
- Counteract disease (this will not reverse damage already done)
- Dress wounds so that more HP may be recovered when resting (may only be attempted once between resting)
Difficulty Checks (DCs):
- Remove "slowing" effect from spike growth - DC 15
- Stabilize a PC - DC 15
- Neutralize Poison - DC 20
- Cure Disease - DC 35
- Basic dress wounds bonus - DC 14 - 1.0 multiplier
- Moderate dress wounds bonus - DC 20 - 1.5 multiplier
- Good dress wounds bonus - DC 27 - 2.0 multiplier
- Excellent dress wounds bonus - DC 35 - 2.5 multiplier
(Note: The DC increases by +7 when attempting to heal yourself in any way.)
